After Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat, 5AM returns for its third season, this time in Hanoi, a city where ancient heritage and modern life meet in quiet harmony.
November in Hanoi is when autumn ripens into its best. The air turns crisp, sunlight softens to a honey hue, and the city feels both lively and serene. It’s the perfect moment for 5AM Eye-conic, a celebration of music, movement, and culture at dawn.
What Is 5AM?
Launched in early 2024, 5AM is co-organized by Vietnam Airlines, SpaceSpeakers Group, and Vietcetera. It’s Vietnam’s first concert to begin at 5 in the morning, but more than that, it’s an invitation to start the day differently.
Each 5AM event blends running, cultural workshops, and live music,... creating a space where the city wakes up together: body, mind, and spirit.
Why Hanoi?
Unlike the energy of Saigon or the calm romance of Da Lat, Hanoi offers a quiet kind of creativity: thoughtful, layered, and deeply rooted in culture.
Recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City in Design, Hanoi has long been a place where tradition fuels innovation. Its mix of heritage sites, art spaces, cafés, and creative communities gives the city a rhythm all its own.
So when 5AM returns to Hanoi, it does so with purpose: to look at the city’s most iconic elements, its stories, flavors, and rhythms - through a new, youthful lens.
What’s New This Season?
Inspired by the city’s early-morning charm, 5AM Eye-conic Hanoi invites participants to see the familiar in fresh ways through three themes: History, Culture & Sports, and Culinary.
Season 3 expands beyond music, introducing a series of immersive experiences from pre-event to during-event, from the Virtual 5AM Fun Run and Heritage Race to the Have A Sip Book Club, and more.
Pre-event Highlights
- 5AM Fun Run (Oct 9–29): 21 energizing mornings encouraging a healthy lifestyle and the “wake up to live better” spirit.
- Heritage Race (Oct 15–29): A new activity where participants explore iconic Hanoi landmarks through three routes:
- History Track: through heritage sites that preserve ancient memories.
- Culture & Sports Track: combining movement and exploration, “running through history.”
- Culinary Track: tasting “the flavors of Hanoi,” from morning phở to local coffee stalls.
Every step tells a story; every challenge offers a new way to see Hanoi - a city that is eye-conic, vibrant, and inspiring.
On the Event Day
- At sunrise, participants from across the city will converge at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, for the main event.
- Fun Run Challenge (Nov 1): A challenge for those who participated in Virtual 5AM Fun Run, running to Imperial Citadel of Thang Long before 5AM.
- F&B Booths (Nov 1): Starting from 5am, all booths from Bếp Thái Koh Yam, Cộng Cà Phê, Boost Juice, TH True Milk, Matcha Vibe, Andros, Gulu, Kom Phê Cha, and La Vie will be ready to welcome attendees with a flavorful experience, fueling up the crowd for an energetic morning ahead.
- Experiences Booth (Nov 1): The event also features various workshops, where visitors can make dó paper lanterns, decorate non la, etc,. along with a special Have A Sip Book Club. These experiences invite audiences to explore Hanoi’s rich artistry and cultural identity.
And of course, the music sunrise.
This season’s lineup brings together SOOBIN, Binz, Rhymastic, Cường Seven, APJ, along with Hà Lê, TUIMI, Nguyễn Hùng, HAKIEM, and NOMOVODKA, promising a multi-sensory celebration to greet Hanoi’s dawn like never before.

5AM is Vietnam’s first sunrise music event, co-organized by Vietnam Airlines, SpaceSpeakers Group, and Vietcetera. After its success in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Lat, Season 3 comes to Hanoi, welcoming a new morning in the thousand-year-old capital through music, movement, and culture, under the theme “Eye-conic Hanoi.”
