Education for Good, an organization dedicated to practical, values-based learning, has announced the launch of two UWC (United World Colleges) Short Courses this summer in Vietnam: “Doing Good” and “Embodying Earth.”
These transformative programs will take place in the provinces of Bình Định and Đồng Nai, respectively, offering young people aged 15 to 20 the opportunity to gain critical knowledge, develop leadership skills, and participate in real-world learning experiences.
Following the successful debut of “Doing Good” in 2024, which attracted 40 participants from 12 countries; Education for Good is renewing their summer program with expanded vision. In addition to the returning course, the organization will introduce “Embodying Earth,” a new program focused on environmental leadership and regenerative development.
“Embodying Earth”: Cultivating A Regenerative Future
Running from June 30 to July 12, 2025, “Embodying Earth: A UWC Short Course” is designed to help participants explore the roots of the climate crisis and take actionable steps toward a regenerative future.
Centered around the theme “Leadership for a Regenerative Future,” the course includes four days of online learning and nine days of immersive, hands-on education at Núi Tượng Mountain in An Giang province.

Students will gain foundational knowledge in ecological science and systems thinking, while participating in activities related to regenerative agriculture and sustainable development. The program also offers a two-month one-on-one mentorship, supporting students in designing and implementing their own environmental initiatives.
“Doing Good”: Inspiring Community Changemakers
Taking place from July 7 to July 23, 2025, “Doing Good: A UWC Short Course” invites students to explore the question, “What does it mean to do good, and how should we practice it?” Through a blend of reflective dialogue, critical thinking, and community engagement, participants are encouraged to launch initiatives that positively impact society.
In collaboration with Outward Bound Vietnam, the program includes outdoor excursions, cultural experiences, and interaction with local communities. Past activities have featured visits to community organizations, learning about Tuồng (Vietnamese classical opera), and exploring national history at the Quang Trung Museum.

With a curriculum drawing from international standards, including Harvard University and NYU Shanghai, the course provides a fully immersive, English-speaking environment that fosters both intellectual and personal growth.
Equipping The Next Generation Of Global Citizens
Both UWC short courses are grounded in the belief that education should be a source of inspiration and practical empowerment. According to Education for Good, these programs aim to build a diverse and inclusive generation of young leaders who value authenticity, teamwork, and social impact—not only in Vietnam but around the world.
Founded on the principle that learning must bring tangible value, Education for Good continues to promote youth engagement with questions such as “What is the purpose of learning?” and “How can knowledge become a force for change?”
By combining international best practices with local cultural elements, the organization seeks to prepare students to become active, compassionate citizens in an interconnected world.
