At the 2025 SIP Awards, one of the most respected spirits competitions in the U.S., where all entries are judged through blind tastings by real consumers, Rượu Làng proudly earned one Double Gold and two Gold medals. It marked the very first time a Vietnamese rice liquor brand reached this level, standing shoulder to shoulder with long-established names from Japan, Europe, and North America.

For a young brand, this wasn’t just a trophy moment. It was a recognition of deeply rooted flavor, a response to the question: Can Vietnamese liquor go global? More importantly, it affirmed a lasting philosophy, that to go far, you must start from your roots.

Reflecting on the recent awards, Phoebe Tran, Rượu Làng’s founder, shared: “I feel proud and grateful for this shift, from working in the corporate world to returning to something as traditional as Vietnamese liquor. Rượu Làng is a young brand, built by young people, slowly helping to reshape how we see local F&B, and sharing a bit of Vietnamese flavor with the world.”

While Rượu Làng was turning heads abroad, it was also steadily building trust at home. Now available in nine provinces across Vietnam, the brand has secured its place in spaces that once belonged exclusively to foreign liquor types: from cocktail bars and boutique hotels to five-star resorts and even Michelin-starred restaurants.
One standout example is CoCo Dining, where Rượu Làng features as part of the new tasting menu "Lữ Hành" by Chef Võ Thành Vương, officially launching on July 1, 2025. Building on the introspective success of "Ra Khơi", which marked a soulful return to roots, "Lữ Hành" takes guests on a broader journey, traversing the length of Vietnam while weaving through layers of emotion, memory, and time.

Here, progressive Vietnamese cuisine is reimagined with Rượu Làng not as a nostalgic afterthought, but as a defining note—boldly present at the heart of the experience.
Rượu Làng’s momentum is also reflected in its growing domestic footprint. In just over a year, the brand has expanded to more than 60 outlets nationwide, with that number expected to surpass 100 as leading modern trade chains begin bringing Rượu Làng to retail shelves. Soon, it will also be available in Vietnam’s key international airports, becoming both a meaningful souvenir for travelers and an everyday choice for local consumers, packaged with pride for a global audience.

With international recognition secured and a loyal domestic following established, Rượu Làng has officially entered its next chapter: going global.
Singapore is the first international destination for the brand—and for good reason.
