Apple CEO Tim Cook landed in Hanoi on Monday morning, greeted by the vibrant tunes of talented musicians My Linh and My Anh. Amidst the warm welcome, Tim wasted no time diving into the local culture, indulging in the famed Vietnamese egg coffee.

Expressing his gratitude for the hospitality, Tim shared his excitement about meeting with notable content creators and app developers during his two-day business trip. His agenda includes discussions on bolstering Apple’s commitments to Vietnam, with plans to increase spending for local suppliers and fund clean water initiatives at schools.

Since last year, Apple has been making significant strides in Vietnam, with the launch of the Apple Store Online and the introduction of Apple Pay. Additionally, the tech giant has been actively investing in enhancing its services, from capturing images for Apple Maps to expanding recruitment efforts to develop its Siri voice assistant in Vietnamese.

At 64, Tim’s leadership has propelled Apple to new heights, doubling revenues and profits by 2020 and introducing groundbreaking products like the Apple Watch and Apple Vision Pro VR headset. Apple’s market cap hit an unprecedented $3 trillion in 2023, solidifying its position as a global tech powerhouse under Tim’s guidance.
