After its "landing" in Tokyo in September 2024 with the Gateway to Vietnam seminar series, drawing over 200 participants, including both Vietnamese and Japanese residents, Vietcetera returns with a renewed identity and a clearer mission: How do Vietnamese people build the national brand?

That question will be answered not in theory but through real stories. From tech to food, from corporate culture to everyday choices, Vietnamese in Japan are showing the world what it means to represent their roots, proudly and unapologetically.

According to Japan’s Immigration Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice, by the end of December 2024, there were 634,361 Vietnamese long-term residents, making them the second largest foreign community in Japan, after China. That number signifies not just scale but a deepening potential for connection, collaboration, and mutual growth. In that context, Tokyo remains a key destination in Vietcetera’s strategy to bring Vietnam to the world.
