Vietjet has officially received its first Boeing 737-8 aircraft, part of a long-term order of 200 planes worth USD 32 billion with Boeing, the world’s leading aircraft manufacturer.

The handover ceremony took place at Boeing’s Delivery Center in Seattle, Washington, in the presence of H.E. Mr. Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, senior leaders of both nations, and representatives from various business partners.

A Decade Of Collaboration, And The Start Of A New Journey

Coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the normalization of Vietnam–U.S. relations, the event represents not only a significant milestone in the partnership between Vietjet and Boeing but also a vivid symbol of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two nations, fostering trade, investment, and creating hundreds of thousands of American jobs.
