Women form the backbone of the workforce in Vietnam’s manufacturing supply chain, particularly in key export sectors such as apparel and footwear. Investing in programs that support and empower women factory workers and their young children who live with them in the industrial zones will go a long way in improving supply chain resiliency and productivity. In this workshop, speakers will share their initiatives that support women workers and their families in Vietnam’s manufacturing zones, and UNICEF will introduce its ESG framework and tools to help businesses integrating child wellbeing into their operations.
