Với bề dày kinh nghiệm nghiên cứu tại nhiều tổ chức uy tín như Viện Chính sách Chiến lược Úc (ASPI), Đại học Quốc gia Úc (ANU) và khả năng sử dụng năm ngôn ngữ thành thạo, bà đã đóng góp quan trọng vào việc định hình các thảo luận về an ninh khu vực, quan hệ quốc tế và hợp tác Việt - Úc.
